Hi,

I’m Samantha…

For as long as I can remember, I believed that being smaller would make me happier.

Today, I help people who feel confused by nutrition, disconnected from their bodies or trapped in the cycle of dieting, guilt and starting again. My aim isn't to help you chase perfection. It's to help you understand how to nourish your body, enjoy movement and build habits that support a healthier, happier life.

The reason I care so deeply about this work is because I've lived it myself.

My Story

I grew up in Berkshire with my mum and my grandmother. We were the three amigos, always laughing, always bickering, and always finding an excuse to disappear on holiday together. My mum worked three jobs to give me every opportunity she could. Even though she was constantly working, she somehow always found time for me, and I'll always be grateful for everything she sacrificed.

Like many families, ours believed that losing weight was something to celebrate. From a very young age, I learnt that if I wanted something, the answer was often, "Only if you lose five pounds first." Without anyone intending to cause harm, I grew up believing that my worth, happiness and achievements were tied to the number on the scales.

That belief stayed with me for years.

I tried countless diets, spent hours in the gym trying to earn my food, and found myself caught in an exhausting cycle of restriction, binge eating, guilt and self-punishment. Over time, my relationship with food became increasingly unhealthy. I lived with bulimia for more than ten years, underwent weight loss surgery and became completely consumed by trying to change my body. Even when I lost weight, I never found the peace I thought would come with it.

Around the same time, life brought other challenges. After experiencing an abusive relationship, I found Yoga. It became the first place where I felt safe in my own body again. Instead of asking how I could make my body smaller, I slowly began asking how I could care for it.

Professionally, I spent years working for a well-known high street retailer, travelling across Europe before eventually settling in Brighton, the city I now proudly call home. Like many people working in corporate roles, I spent long days at a desk, eating poorly, moving very little and feeling increasingly disconnected from my health.

Eventually, I reached a point where I realised I didn't need another diet. I needed to understand my body.

That decision changed everything.

I immersed myself in studying nutrition, health and movement. For the first time, I learnt why restrictive diets so often fail, how habits are formed, and how food, movement and mindset work together to create lasting change.

Today, my life looks very different.

I rarely step on the scales. I eat without guilt. I move because it makes me feel strong, capable and energised, not because I need to burn off what I've eaten. I live by the sea in Brighton with my French Bulldog, Oggy, and I finally feel at home in my own body.

Perhaps the most rewarding part of my own story is that it didn't stop with me. As my understanding grew, my family began changing their own habits too. My mum has lost eight stone, my grandmother has lost five, but more importantly, all three of us feel healthier, happier and more comfortable in ourselves than we ever have before.

That experience reminds me every day that real change isn't about finding the perfect diet. It's about understanding your body and learning how to work with it instead of against it.

The Values That Shape My Work

Everything I do is built on a few simple beliefs.

There are no good or bad bodies.

Food shouldn't control your life.

Movement isn't something you have to earn.

Health isn't measured by a number on the scales.

Progress doesn't come from perfection. It comes from small, realistic changes that fit into everyday life.

Whether we're working on nutrition, mobility, strength, flexibility or confidence, my role is to meet you where you are. Every person arrives with a different story, different challenges and different goals, so I don't believe in one-size-fits-all plans.

I want the people I work with to leave feeling informed, empowered and confident enough to make choices that support their health long after we've finished working together.
